I want to find out what this venturi mod is now. I am missing out on so much ER mod's its crazy.

Mine is still stock.

I had no idea there was a venturi mod. Makes perfect sense. Get more air into the pump and chop the hell out of it!

the venturi mod makes little to no difference. The mod you want to do is the mesh wheel mod. I'm assuming you have the gen x 4100?

xenon, didn't you just get this skimmer? I would suggest getting a Dwyer air meter so that you can measure the changes in airflow and see if you are going in the right direction. I got one and it helps a lot.

FWIW, I tried the mesh on my RS250 (3 layer PF4). I went back to the stock impeller.

also, check to see if you have the new ER impellar. I put one on my sedra 5k and it increased my air flow quite a bit.

I have the newer ER skimmer with the sedra 5k needle wheel.

Does that mean I shouldn't do any mods or are any of them worth while?
