Eurypegasus draconis - Short dragonfish

Does anyone know much about these or where i could find some info? thinking about an algae based tank and liked the look of these.

unfortunately, sea moths are one of those fish that noboby has been able to keep successfully. they require lots of open space and live pods, but even then, they seem to fail to thrive.

perhaps it's due to the fact that they are poor shippers, as well as the fact that Syngnathids succumb to starvation very rapidly. they lack true stomachs, and as such, require lots of food on a daily basis, shich they don't get once they're collected. in fact, a Syngnathid's digestive system can shut down permanently in as little as four days without food.

as for additional info, most of what you'll find would be on SH forums, altho i travel in those circles, i can tell you there is little out there other than like ghost pipes, nobody has cracked the nut yet.

that being said, i saw a few at the wholesaler about 3 weeks ago.
 
No thanks for that, i knew that they would probably be a challenge but i wasn't aware that it would be that hard. I think it would be best if i left them where they stand a chance. Thanks for the info.
