Evaporation?

I have a 76g DT open top, 30g sump/fug open top, and run LED's I am losing 2g a day from evaporation. does that seem right? Its been up and running for a little over a month now.

A bit more than me, but humidity and ac/heat will be a factor.

I loose a little over a gallon on my 90 every day.

really its hard to say, depends on your desired water temp vs. your room's temp vs. how much air you got blowing across the water surface vs. total water surface...but yea it may be....why do you ask?

just seems a bit much considering I spent the money for the led's to try and keeps temps / evap down. my systems not that big

I have a 90g with 125g sump-80g full, both open top and I go through around 3 gallons a day and as the others said it depends on the conditions in your home.

Im gonna follow this too im in the market for a ato. Evap has so many factors. but if the floors not wet that must be where its going.

I've been using a JBJ ato for almost 3 years without any problems, but there are many out there and I couldn't tell you what the best one was, all I can tell you is what has worked for me. Hope this helps

Currently evap about 10g per day on my system.
