Evapouration and temperature

Just a general Q to see what anyone else is doing. At the minute i have my tank well covered (including sump/fuge) to limit water loss. The tank runs at around 28 degrees in late evening when lights have been on all day and heating has been on for the homosapians. Early morning it is around 25 - 26 degrees. Is this acceptable (for fish and softies only) or should i remove some covering to allow better evapouration and just top up more?

Cheers.

Well i am hoping that you are talking about 28 degrees C. And not F. Having the tank at about 28 degrees C is a little hot for my tastes and i would recomend that you do remove some of the covering and top off more. Ben
