Evening Surprise

Found my 5 gal. Canister on my 125 not running. Dirty impeller... Running now after cleaning. All looks well. Must have not been long. Any comments out there?

did that with my skimmer- didn't realize that it was clogged. for a while. no3 at 30. all fixed and trhe tenants look happier.

Yes, I'm testing and Nitrites were at zero. Don't have an ammonia kit anymore. Did a little Prime dose just to check the unknown.

I don't think you'll see any problems. I might have flushed the filter well to remove any anaerobic byproducts, in case the oxygen level in the filter dropped low for a while.

I did discard the water in the canister just in case. All looks well today. Just wondering what would of happened if it didn't restart. Sounds like I need a plan.

I did my best to set up my tanks so that a single pump failure, or a single GFCI trip, couldn't take down the tank.
