 Naw, after I passed 5000 posts it was easy.

And I do have 2 windows open of course.

Ew, wow. Yuck. It took me months to feel comfortable holding my live rock for aquascaping. Now i am gonna be back to freaking out. Was it a big worm?

Wow that had to hurt.

Yeah, it stung a bit! But I STILL think it was funny! And my wife still thinks it's HILLARIOUS! :D

Actually, it was a fairly small one (maybe 4" - 5"). DON'T BE SCARED! The bristles can't penetrate latex gloves (powder free of course). Just take precautions or be prepared to have your SO laugh at you! :p

OK, THIS post is just because I hardly EVER get to page 2!

NOW I OWN IT!!! :smokin:

The warm vinegar soak thing may work: I believe calcium carbonate is a major component of the bristles and a lengthy soak in a bowl of vinegar may dissolve them below skin level.

I take it was rather like walking barefoot on hot pavement: you get started and keep thinking you'll get off onto the grass pretty soon...but meanwhile you want to see how long you'll last.

Well i have a few large enough i decided they needed names. I can't tell them apart unless they come out from their rocks completely so they have all been dubbed FuzzyButt. They are between 7 and 8 inches. I dont think its fear so much as grossed out and not wanting pain. My SO laughs at me the whole time I mess around in my tank becuase i carry a conversation with things in it the whole time. Usually telling things to not touch me.

Hey Sk8r! It seems to be more like walking on fire than pavement!

But it is definately better (since it happened about 10 hrs ago) kind of like fiberglass splinters now... only hurts when I "mash" them.

Speaking of which, forgive any typos... typing one handed at the moment! :)
