I have one. It hold around 500 plus gallons in the skimmer. It apparently removes quite a bit of garbage from the water.
Yes, I am talking about my Kohler jetted garden tub (jacuzzi). I have always noticed that the bubbles on one end of the tub are dirty. But until I got into reef-keeping, I didn't know what this was. Now I do. It makes this foam whether anyone is in the water or not, so no "you're dirty" jokes.
It looks like they action of the motor along with the adjustable bubble output of the jets creates a protein skimmer affect.
Has anyone else noticed this?
