Everything is going to die. Where does the water from the sump go to.

The top or front. This is the pump.

The water gets sucked in the fitting pointing directly out from the end of the pump. The water gets pumped up to the tank from the fitting that is pointing up.

You have 1225 posts and you dont know how an external pump works??? Your kidding right? I really hope this thread is a joke lol

I think it was a blonde moment. But Im not really sure.

Or a drunk moment.:eek1:

I wish it was a joke and I wish it was a blonde moment because Im a redhead, lol. I have never had a problem. I plumbed all my hard pipe myself. Never really expected this. Seems somehow my seahare got up my sump pipe and got stuck. So it wasnt filling the tank. My sump line was fed by a mag 7 and could be removed easily in an emergency. But seing that it was older, the mag wouldnt work after and the only thing I had was a gen-x 30. No instructions as it was a hand me down. No one would respond in the equiptment area fast enough. I came home to microbubbles everywhere and the waterline a foot down. My maxi mods were running half dry. My brain was fried from work already never mind complex thinking to re-flow the tank, lol. All I could think of is I was dealing with it for an hour and my sps were going to die and wasnt sure why it wasnt flowing. It was supposed to siphon itself but had to give it some help. Well let me tell you. This thing is humming now. My stockman isnt doing the job with the noise now. But im sure the sps is happy. Really really thanks to you guys and no, im not that dumb. Just was aggrivated but grateful for the quick responce. But I expected that from you guys here, thats why I placed it here.
