not sure about QT. According to http://www.wetwebmedia.com/tridacdisfaqs.htm "What is called "Pinched Mantle" in tridacnids is caused by "a protozoa" according to Barry Neigut. He has found that a good rinsing (while shaking) afflicted clams in pH adjusted freshwater for a minute usually effects a lasting cure."

The QT is just like any other QT, it's to ensure the protozoa isn't introduced into it's new tank... Once it's in there you probably won't get it out. The FWD is not a lasting cure as the clam will contract the protozoa again once it's put back into the same tank.

I have a frag of it, but a guy in Denver is supposed to pick it up tonight. I'll let you know if he doesn't. I do still have the blue tipped chips from my dad's tank along with his tort and blue milli although someone is interested in the milli but not commited.

I already have a ton of milli from Coreefer and Avs21--blue, pink, purple and green highlights. What was the frag I got from you? It's still too underdeveloped to display significant colors yet, but it may have come from that teal acro on the left side of his tank.
