EVG-AP-2F help

is the EVG-AP-2F meant to be used with solid copper wire into the terminals? if so what guage of wire are they made to be used with. also just so its clear it takes ac power in and feeds it out to the ballast and then feeds 2 l ports in and can output 2 1-10v connections for the ballast channel. thanks for any help.
