I have been following his thread on the other site but I don't think he has talked much about the skimmer. It looks like he has a CO2 scrubber attached to it. Am I correct or just seeing things? If correct any idea what media he is using?

yes, he's using co2 scrubber. I am seeing him this Tuesday so I will be sure to ask him when I see him. (I'm hoping I remember lol)
