How do I get my caulerpa to go sexual?
I am hoping to get it out of my reef tank for good. In my old 30 gallon the whole population of caulerpa just up and turned white one day, never to return. What sort of conditions cause this to happen? How can I get it to happen again?

stand by for water info...just used a phosphate absorber and am about to W/C. I will kill this stuff.

Well, my terse answer is "put it in my macro tank". I had some "success" going sexual with a combination of activated carbon and phosguard. I think that at least one general opinion is that if you keep major nutrients low enough for long enough it will want to depart enough to go sexual, so maybe the above plus some kind of nitrate remover would show some success.
