Well, I've been out of the country for a few weeks.. got home today and from what I understand the shop has no tanks in it ... I've tried to contact Slone and so far no luck. Take that for what its worth I suppose.

Sounds like that is about as official as it is going to get here for a while, since Sloan is a bit AWOL at the moment.

This is just speculation, but I believe slone wanted to move more towards online sales......I may be totally wrong, but I know he had discussed that at one time.

Its a shame to see the store close. I purchased a bunch of stuff from him.

According to Sloan's mom the shop is closed but he wants to keep doing corals from home. She mentioned they might look for some cheaper space but didn't sound overly optimistic when she said it. The last couple of corals I bought were from EA and they are still going strong so here is another "vote" for keeping things going.

Does Sloan has any existing inventory that he needs to sell, either drygoods/supplies or livestock? If so, I am sure that we would be anxious to chip in (buy something) and help out.

If someone could find out, that would be great.

I just spoke to Slone. He is doing fine. I told him we have been eulogizing his shop. He plans to go back to school and finish his degree and going on to grad school out of the area. He figured now was as good a time to shut it down as any. He will be selling corals from his home and does still have supplies to sell.
