Exotic open yet?

No, not yet. They're on my way home everyday. They leased the old Goodwill store so you can imagine how large it is. I don't know how fancy it will be but if they're going all out then I would imagine it will take a while.

its across from the Goodwill, I went in there the other day and its HUGE. Saltwater section is just crazy and the freshwater section has over 200 tanks.
The salt section looks crazy and they have tanks back to back of each other and they look like they were over 200g ea. ANd then they have the saltwater section along the side wall also, two shelves top and bottom .
The pond displays are in another section, and drygoods are all on the left side of the store. This store is going to be nuts.
I have never encountered a LFS of this magnitude.

Ok, maybe I didn't give the exact definition.

I think "striking it" is one of those Northern California words just like "hella"

So, as I was trying to figure out how to explain this, I go to urbandictionary.com and although it doesn't specifically say that it's one of those words, the only definition is posted by a guy from Sac. ;)

Ok, I can tell you, Consider me ghetto slang certified... Way beck when I was 16-20 (25 now :-)) In the bay area "striking it" meant walking a far distance " Thats what homies (Friends) and Me would use it for.

As with most slang/ebonics you can give E-40 and Keek da sneak from the local rap scene in the Bay area Credit.

But thats just my take on it

LOL...E-40 is one of the all time best, and one of my favorates...I remeber when I got my first car in highschool, a 68 mustang, it was all original including the AM-only w/ 8-track...I wanted to set up an AM pirate broadcast around my neighborhood as an e-40 chanel...
