I just talked to Timothy from Exotic. They are planning to open the 25th. He is going to let me know about a discount for MARS members.

Im hoping that the store will stay as it looks when it opens up. Clean and Nice with good product and service.

Exotic, use to be (not sure if it's still there) a store off of Florin that had become IMO very run down, and I stoped going. They were one of the better stores when I first got into the hobby, so hopefully this new store will be nice.

I've been exchanging e-mails with the new manager and they have been busy setting up. I have some pics from him on the new layout. It looks huge! Yes, new management and I'm working on the details of a MARS discount. He says they will be the largest west coast retailer.

Well What I am guessing is they are trying to get a huge inflow of customers to buy more so there prices would be less.

Atleast thats what I hope.

It's going to have lots of FW and an outdoor koi pond area. He was saying they are putting in a 500g coral tank display in addition to the rows of tanks shown.

I think that is going to depend on a few things. If they plan on doing internet sales that could boost sales and lower prices. If they are just trying to capture local sales I think they are going to have a hard time keeping up the revenu. However I would bet they will have some teaser prices when they first open inorder to get some type of customer base.

Mandy, are they going to pretty much do livestock, or are they still going to have tanks and other dry equipment. Their old store is where I got my tank and my fuge.
