Expanding Reidi Diet

since i got my pair of reidis its been my goal to get them eating a variety of food to get them the most nutrition possible. When i first got them they were eating frozen brine but wouldnt take mysis, but after about a week of mixing in mysis with the brine i got them switched to frozen mysis. they've been eating mysis ever since and eat like champs. Tonight i decided to give Hikari plankton a try since i already had it out to feed my reef and my guess is thats its more nutritious than mysis. My only concern was that its bigger than mysis and looks visibly different, but wanted to give it a shot. To my surprise both horses went after it right away and i guess they liked it because they continued to feed until all of it was gone. maybe i'm a little weird, but i am so excited that i can feed something else to these guys. Now i gotta try something new in a few weeks and c if i can get them to eat some other stuff. Anyone else feed their horses anything other than enriched brine or mysis?? If so, wut, so i can give it a try too.

I have been feeding my adult seahorses un-enriched frozen mysis and they seem to thrive on that. Ten years and counting.

I have gotten mine to take some pieces out of the homemade food that I feed to my fish. Their favorite seems to be the squid. It gets ground up in the blender with a bunch of other stuff, but the pieces are long and stringy. Kind of like a mutilated mysis shrimp. If one floats passed them they will snick it right up.
