Expansion Module

I just got a ACIII with the expansion module. The only problem is that my other tank is roughly 25 feet away. It only comes with a 6' cord. What kind of cable can I use to extend it with. It is a eight strand cable. Would you use Cat 5E Plentium cable? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure of the name of the cable you would be using, however running it that distance should not be a problem per Neptune. You should be able to pick up that cord at any Radio Shack location. As long as it matches up with the existing cord it will work.
