Expensive polyps?

I recently went to my LFS to pick up some stuff and envied some brown polyps on some sort of Rock. I asked the manager how much they were and he told me $35. It seemed like they were a bit over priced. Any thoughts.

there are lots of colors for them green and brown seem to be most common, also that seems like alot for them unless its a huge colony

Are you talking about button polyps or zoanthids? If so, for a rock about basball size, that might be a fair price for if they are zoanthids. Button polyps are rather cheap and that would be alot to spend on them.

Brown were button i believe and green zoanthids

Yea, that would be really over prices around here. The lfs in town has button polyp and zoanthids rocks baseball size for less then $20 all the time. Sometimes they have larger rocks listed as $10 frags.

scrmbld33 thanks for the info. i think i might opt out and get 2 10 packs to get free shipping. at 10 bucks a pop thats about as cheap as getting them from other reefers

man, thats a pretty nice website, have never seen it before- i think i mgiht do the same and get two 9 packs or a 9 packs and some other stuff.
