So i ve read a little bit about these and i was wonder what your guys experience has been with them? I just picked up a pair, yes they are in my 65 reef but they will be in my 240 in less than a year (if they behave) if not i might set up a FOWLR. But i just wanted to hear from all of you? Any tips will be gladly appreciated

Thanks

Give it a shot, shouldnt have a problem rehoming if he does nip

Try to get a younger one and keep them happily fed and you should be ok

well actually i got a beautiful pair... ill post pics when they come out from hiding..

Mine is awesome in my reef tank. He eats out of my hand and allows me to rub him. I do have to nudge him away at feeding time occasionally.

blue throat triggers are some of the easiest to keep in reef according to a large poll/topic i read through recently on my local forum

I had a 4" male for a while and he didn't bother my snails, cleaner shrimp, CBS, hermits, clam or corals. Awesome fish.

Had one in the past, in my old 100g SPS Dominant Reef. He was a complete, model citizen. He too allowed me to hand feed him. Swims up and down, in and out...very entertaining fish!

I would love to add one of these as a last fish but hear they can be jumpers. I know all fish "can" jump but heard these do most of the time. Is this true? Any experiences?

Yes i have hear they are jumpers, but then again alot of fish we try to keep are jumpers. I have seen my female, but can not find my male. Im sure he ll show up in a day or so. i ve been looking behind my tank and in my sump just in case... Im sure he ll show up.
