After reading I am thinking aboub getting a foxface. I am a little cautious after reading to monitor them with corals. So I wanted to get everyones experiences with them. Also does anyone know of any lfs that has one or does anyone have one they want to sell at a fair price?:D

Thanks for the input

Hi,

I had a couple of Foxfaces and they never touched any corals. Neither one lived for more than 3 months in my tank even though there was plenty of supplied Nori and some natural algae on the reef. After a while they just quit eating and died.

i have had mine for 5 years and it has never bothered my corals. it does a good job controling the unwanted algae. Hector at Tropical Aquarium has 3 of them and there nice size 3"+

I have also had my foxface in my reef tank. I have SPS, couple LPS, zoas, and so far he hasn't bothered anything so far. Two Turtles in Akron had just received a shipment and had a few last week.

I've gota scribbled rabbit fish. I guess you could consider it a sort of fox face. Either way he doesnt' bother anything in my tank at all.

I have had one for 6 months and he never touches anything other than the algae and food I drop in the tank. I have sps, lps, zoa's and clams.
