Hi, I am looking for some help. I have a Blue Throat Trigger that is in QT. He has went through 2 weeks of Cupramine and one week of prozi pro. What he has left that I don't like is shimmery eyes and some milky areas on the leading area of his Dorsal and Anal fin near the body. On the Dorsal it is more linear along the first bone. On the Anal fin it is more of a spot but again it is on the leading edge close to the body.
The eyes are otherwise clear but in the center of the black is some shimmery iridescence reflection. It doesn't look "cloudy" per say because the eye is otherwise crystal clear. It is just these center areas that have this shimmery look. The LFS told me it was a natural sun protection layer?
I am currently considering Maracyn two but I am not sure it is a bacterial infection. I pretty much have done everything else. I also have a firefish that is perfectly clean from any physical signs of anything in the same QT tank.
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I will try but I don't think I can get a good picture of it.
