Clown Hoarder
Well I spent a few more hours than planned at work machining some Swirler Stein parts and didn't get home to feed the tank until 10pm. I have only one ~2.25-2.5" Tomato Clown in the tank. When I fed the little guy he hit the food with more force than I have ever seen from a clown. He was flying all over the tank snagging up the Mysis and Formula 1 when normally he only ventures less than a foot from the cave during feeding. He also ate about 1/8 the size of a total cube of Formula 1 between the Formula 1 and mysis shrimp. He is normally not nearly this aggressive for food.
Now I don't have an exact time I feed. I feed once between 6-8pm so the detrivores quickly get the leftovers after lights out (9pm). Since I turned the halide back on after hours and the clown has adjusted to a loose schedule, is that possibly the reason for the exhibition of feeding frenzy I viewed last night???
