Exquisite and fine spotted in 55

I was at the LFS and they had an exquisite wrasse for $30. I have a fine spotted in my 55. I have read they are both agressive for fairies but am wondering if I could add the Exquisite to the 55. I want to add a second perc at the same time. My other inhabitants are a christmas wrasse, 2 yellow tail damsels, a perc and a flame hawk.
Any advice would be appreciated.

You'll be fine. Exquisite is not aggressive in my experience.

I am a little more worried about the Fine Spotted that is in the tank already. I am hoping the Exquisite will be tough enough to stick up to the Fine Spot. I just would hate to have one kill the other.

just for a heads up my exquisite is not aggressive either.

If the exquisite is large enough it will hold it's own.

If you are still worried, you could use a breeding box to let the new fish acclimate to your tank without being harassed by other fish. I've done this several times with shy-er fish. Simply place the breeding box inside your tank and leave the new arrival in there until it's eating and doesn't seem to be skiddish anymore. I have one that is made of a very fine mesh similar to cheesecloth that is held in place by an old magfloat.

I will go back tomorrow and see if he is still there. i have a 10 gal running that I will keep him in for a month or so until he is eating and looks fat. My 55 will be complete!!
