Exquisite Fairy Wrasse question

Does an Exquisite Fairy Wrasse have a white "blotch" on its nose?

I feel stupid for asking this, but after looking at some pics at DFS, some of the side images look like it does. This fish came today from the DD, so I can't imagine they let a fish go with something so apparant.

This looks like it has a BB (or a tiny big smaller) blotch on its nose. Irregular shape like a clump of sand. Ive been watching it in QT all day and it is staying the same shape/uniformity.

not sure if all have it, but I've seen it many times, as recent as noon today at a LFS.

I read somewhere that most wrasses get injuries on their noses. This is from their activity and I think trying to jump during shipping. Constantly rubbing on a bag will do that to a nose for sure... Please correct me if I am wrong or elaborate if I am right, but I remember reading something about this.

I believe it is common on immature fairy wrasses. I have even had a small male without the spot, develop one when newly introduced to a tank with larger wrasses. As they grow up, it goes away I believe. That said, sometimes they can get their noses messed up during shipment.

Yes, my LongFin Fairy wrasse has a white spot on his nose but seems to be going away as he's maturing and more active now.
