Exquisite Wrasse Color

So I had my LFS order an Exquisite Wrasse. When it came in it was pink with a black spot on its tail and a white spot on its nose. I thought for sure it was a mistake but we looked it up in a book they had on wrasses and found an almost identical picture of a juvinile African Exquisite Wrasse so I know I have the right fish. My question is does anyone know roughly how long I can expect to wait before it begins to change into its adult colors?

I had one in the past. It takes about 12 months to reach adult colors. Please be aware that are excellent jumpers (this way I lost mine). Will grow to over 4" if is eating well. Peaceful and beautiful fish, just make sure you don't have uncovered surface. Fish will find it and will jump for sure.

hope it helps,
MaLi

Thanks for the info on the color. This was my second attempt to get info and even then it took awhile for anyone to answer. My hood is 10 inches tall and well sealed. I have several wrasses so I wanted to be sure it was safe.
