Extension Tubes

Dolphin Finatic
For you guys who have them, can you please post some pics and your likes/ dislikes. I just ordered a set off ebay for 130 shipped and it includes a 12/20/36 . It's for the canon and works with the EF and EFS lenses. Kenko of course.

Thanks

Ive have a set just like those, and they are really nice, but a pain to deal with because they reaquire you to use WAY more light, which in turn slows the shutter even more. However i do like them much better than teleconvertors, as they add another piece of glass, and can diminish image quality.

Just what I have noticed, hope this helps.

BTW, ive used them with a 150mm macro simga, and a 90mm tamron macro, and results over all were good, but man that camera get LONG, be careful if you shoot overhead not to dip your lens in the water:D

Are you sure the Kenko tubes you got are for EF-S lenses? I have the EF-S 60mm F/2.8 and it doesn't attach to my Kenko tubes, I believe they are only for EF mount. I hope you didn't have your heart set on that. But I like my set of tubes. I use them with my Sigma 150mm when corals are closer than the lenses minimum focusing distance to go beyond 1:1 magnification. You do loose light so a tripod/shutter release is a must when using them.

The ones I got are supposedly supposed to work with EFS lenses. Surely, someone on ebay wouldn't lie. LOL .. If it didn't work, not major since I only have one EFS lens
