External input question

I just read through the manual but can't figure out if this is possible.

Can I hook up a pushbutton to some input somehow to use to trigger a feeding pause? (this button would be a nice feature on the remote display! if the computer is in the basement and the remote on the tank)

Can I hook up a button or my own sensor to trigger a sequence of events? (turn on outlet x for 1 minute... then outlet X+1...)

Not quite sure what you mean.

Feeding pauses are already an integral feature of the profiLux control you dont need to add any external devise.

To trigger events in the way you seem to describe you can use the logic control.

Thanks for the reply. My computer would be in the basement with the sump. I want to wire a pushbutton upstairs by the tank that would trigger the feeding pause.

As for the logic items, is there a way I can access a pdf of a more recent manual? The one for version 3.02 doesn't contain the word "logic" when I search it.

No there is no way of wiring in a push button to trigger a feeding pause, you can set a time for the feeding pause to start though
