External Parasite

My roommates purple firefish has translucent leech-like parasites hanging off of its body. Anyone know what type of parasite this could be??? They almost look like blisters, but they expand into a leech-looking thing and contract into round circles. I've dealt with ich and white body fungus before but have not seen anything like this in my 11 years of the hobby (which is probably a good thing) ....

I have this same issue now, with a purple firefish. Bump

My guess would be cirolanids. You can just google image search and see if they look similar. If it is them I wish you luck. They are nasty little buggers. When one attacked our occ. clown we netted the fish, held it down on a flat surface w/ damp paper towel and removed it with tweezers. We found a couple more in the tank before they attacked fish and removed them with a turkey baster. If you have a full blown infestation I don't have any pointers though. Good luck.
