The 40b:
Not sure about tempered, bought it from $1 gallon sale a year or two ago. Hardly used it.

The stand was made for a tank 2" shorter in width, so the 40 breeder hangs off the back of the stand as is. You will want to put some support on the back if you are handy with DIY. There is a sump in the stand you can have also. The lights are 4 T5's that mount in the hood. Not sure how old they are.

PFO ballast on the t12, two separate switches to control 2 white bulbs and 2 blue bulbs. I'm not sure how old the bulbs are.
