Extreme Misbar vs Naked with Dots

Live Aquaria sells extreme misbar Ocellaris as well as naked ones with dots. They both are tank bred by ORA and from the pictures seem to look the same but the Naked is $30 more. Am I missing something? The only difference I can find is it looks like the misbar sometimes has a very small middle stripe at the very top, but not in their default photo.

with the extreme misbar, you never really know what fish youll receive. It broken stripe pattern could be wildly unpredictable with tail stripes, no tail stripes, head bar no head bar....i think the picture is just for reference on one possibility. the naked ocellaris tend to be harder to produce, from my understanding, so the higher price i am sure is reflective of that.

That kind of makes sense, although if a clown that was bred to be an extreme misbar sometimes comes out looking like a naked clown with dots, I'm surprised they don't sell it for the increased price.

I might end up just getting a naked clown in a year or so if the price goes down a little. Something about having a little male naked clown sub entertains me.

A naked clown is just an extreme misbar. I think the chances of you getting an extreme misbar when ordering a normal misbar would be extremely slim. I think it is probably just marketing so they can sell more of the misbars.
