Extremely Hard To Diagnose

My 3 Chromis have been in QT for, seems like forever, but its been like 8-9 weeks now.

One Chromis has developed white patches on its side. It looks like its scales came off or something. He is being bullied by the other two and his fin on top has been split so it could be that. When I look at him under a magnifing glass, his skin is perfectly smooth and nice actually. But the patches have me for a loop. None of the fish are lethargic, or flashing. All 3 of them hide quite often though, but look fine and eat fine.

Any thoughts. They do not appear sick or anything but I cant tell.

This sucks.

They are physically attacking the fish. Why is it weird that scales when come off when the fish is physically attacked and harmed? :p That's normal! If someone attacks you slashing with a knife and a piece of skin is cut off, you wouldn't think that's weird would you? :D

It is very common for chromis to attack each other until only one survives; not juts in the QT either. Some get along just fine, many others don't. I have no idea why. These fish were once considered very peaceful, easy fish. that isn't the case anymore.
