just because phosphate remover is white balls dosent mean thats the only chemical u have that is little white balls.....who guessed it?






yup i filled up a mesh bag with calcium and ran it under tap water for a second no snap and crackle no heat so i through it in the filter....checked it like a minute later to the bag being all but empty and hot hot hot as crap...so i just added a crap load of calcium and a degree to the tank...should be fine at least i hope.....yea well what can ya do...at least i didnt wake up tommorrow and go ***...lol

too much calcium can throw your alk and mag out of line. If you added a lot I would consider a water change.
