Never heard of a Galactic Super Skimmer before..? That’s because there’s only two in existence. Both of these skimmers were made by former Reefer John Wisdom and ORCA’s own Russell Whitney of Ocean’s Blend. Why did they choose “hot pink” acrylic…? You’ll need to ask Russell
This is a high performance and well constructed DIY skimmer for use on large Reef systems.

This is a one of a kind large re-circulating Protein Skimmer patterned after the Euro-Reef re-circulating Skimmer. This giant is 29 inches tall and 9 inches wide. (2) SEDRA KSP-9000 needle wheel pumps are the power house. This skimmer can be driven by any low volume pump such as a Mag 6 or can be gravity fed like Russell’s skimmer. The foot print of this skimmer is approximately 20 inches by 20 inches.

This skimmer was running on my 300 Gallon mixed reef system before I decided to upgrade to a Warner Marine AS300.

can it run outside the sump? or how deep of water does it run in?

It's designed for in sump use. Water depth can be adjusted to whatever you like. As long as the level stays constant, it will work just fine.
