Everyone enjoys a good "FAIL"! Lets be honest if we didn't they wouldnt be so popular on YouTube. So since I am only a few months into the hobby here are my best "FAILS". Share your own lets have fun.
1. Bought a pink Setosa way to early in my tank setup (its been white three times but it's a trooper and finally kept its color and growing
2. Bought a complete ATO setup off of craigslist. Didn't read the stats on the pump it came with and flooded my sump on to my floor within 15 minutes on setting it up.
3. Bought a flashing wrasse and didn't cover the overflow portion of my tank. Naturally the wrasse jumped in it got stuck and I had to redo the plumbing after I had to pull it out to save him. (He is alive and well).
4. Pulled a hermit crab out of my tank because I thought it was dead. Turns out it was a snail who crawled itself out of the bin I placed it in after an hour with no water (no longer do I analyze tank life with whiskey in my system)
