I am quite sure it is a juvenile or female of rubriventralis complex... It might be juvenile or female kwazulu...

Female rubriventralis complex.

Either a female "KwaZulu fairy" wrasse (Cirrhilabrus sp.), which is undescribed, or a female Cirrhilabrus joanallenae.

I'm not sure if the range of C. joanallenae extends to africa, but i've seen them appear in africa shipments before. either from transit shipments or really found there.

hmmm still tryna figure out if i should grab this guy or not because shes not in the best of shape, maybe i'll wait it out if no one grabs her in a week ill take her in lol. No one with a picture of the kwazulu? ive seen it in a book but its not the best picture of the male. This wrasse does look very similar to the female's picture though thanks!

here's 2 pictures of adult male Cirrhilabrus sp (KwaZulu fairy wrasse).

not the best photos as it does not show extended fins. Pictures from Kuiter's new labridae book.
