I put my Kole tang in my tank the other day. My red head fairy wrasse doesnt seem too happy. He disappeared for awhile. Found out he had jumped into the overflow and took a trip into the sump.

But he is staying inthe top front corners and not swimming around.

Always been a very docile fish until now.

Will he calm down?

In a 40 gallon breeder?

Yes I know. Go ahead and do it. The tang isnt stressed nor aggressive.

If it doesnt work out, I have plenty of people that would take him

Well the suggested minimum tank size for C. solorensis is 75 gallons as is the suggested minimum for a kole tang. Obviously the C. solorensis is stressed out even if the kole tang is not. You asked for help . . .

Oh yes I know. Its actually a C. cyanoplaura. And has been fine since the day I got him. No stress. Ive had him since August.

Of course the suggested minimum for this fish is 90 gallons. You wanted to know why he is stressed. Very simply the tang is doing it. Clearly it is your choice.
