This year's event will feature sessions from nationally recognized author, speaker and saltwater expert Anthony Calfo and Randy Reed of Reef Nutrition.

Along with our speakers, we will have vendors, coral frags for sale and of course a large raffle with tons of hobby related items.

Last years Fall Fest '08 was a major success and we hope this year is even better with lower admission prices and speaker sessions included with all admissions.

I thought this was supposed to be in the Quad cities again... but that a group of Des Moines/ Board members of GIRS didn't want to drive that far.

And that there would have been A lot more vendors if it would have been...

Any updates on raffel prizes?

Ludi, just to clarify, it wasn't really matter of driving time at all. The biggest reason for the move was financial. We are getting a room roughly the same size as the one we had last year at a fraction of the cost. We have not had any vendors decide not to come because of the move. In my opinion this event will be just as big, if not bigger than last years.

As of today we only have 2 vendor spots left and 3 seller spots left so it looks like the event floor will be a sell out.

If you're planning on attending as a seller, you may want to register soon or there may not be any space left.

We sold the last vendor and seller spots the last couple of days so the show floor is officially full.

We'll be adding a floor plan including a vendor/seller list to the Fall Fest site in the next few days.
