So unfortunately my fish have ich and I am planning on going fallow in the system.

My question is, sps corals are alright just on light and good conditions, is this correct?

Thanks in advance

Grant

you could risk having the nutrients in your tank drop dramatically fast after removing your fish and your corals may lose a little color. that is an extreme situation that may not happen. i would just feed a little, maybe once a week until you put your fish back in.

They should be fine, but if you want, I would add some newly-hatched brine and/or decapsulated brine eggs, frozen rotifers, oyster eggs, coral frenzy... small, meaty planktonic foods.

Cheers
Mike

I went through the same thing, leaving my tank fallow to treat all my fish in hypo. I ended up just feeding some oyster feast every once in a while, everything was fine.
