fallow period help

Ok anyone who saw my other post knows I had a brook outbreak. I planned on leaving it fallow for about 8 weeks. But I was wondering if hyposalinty would work for this and how long to keep the tank at the low sg level

Hypo won't do anything for brook. You can just let it sit and the time will take care of the problem for you.

During the fallow period should I do more water changes than usual or can I get away with less since there's nothing adding ammonia aside from the CUC

I would not do any water changes until about 2 weeks before it is complete.
