What do you guys think of a false back wall for a 20H? Are there any benefits besides hiding equipment? Any help would be great.

I don't think there are any benefits hiding equipment other than having the tank look cleaner/nicer IMO.
Not sure exactly what you a thinking when you say false back, however, lots of people just paint the back of their tanks (on the outside of course).
I used Krylon black spray paint when I painted mine.....just mask everything pretty well, and paint away.
