False cleaner wrasse ?????????please help!!!

Hi all,
i purchased a cleaner wrasse for my tank jus 2 days back.
But the cleaner is niping at my other fish especially my clown tang .
The tang is now having white patches on parts of its body.

I just read an article abt. false cleaner wrasses and their mimicry.
I doubt that my wrasse is a false one.

pls help me ..

When you say nipping, thats his way of cleaning the fish and pulling dead skin and parasites off them. My dogface puffer hates mine most the time, but when he had ick a while back, he let him swim inside his gills and clean em out. My angel and butterfly fish love him. There very very hard to keep, i've been lucky with this one as its been over a yr and he's a big eater.

my tang was nipped at several times finally it began to chase it away.

ive put the wrasse in my refuge and the tang has developed ick.
do u think i must put the wrasse bak.
pls examine him from the pic and tell me if hes a saber tooth blenny.

Here's what i think, if i were there i could tell ya. My cleaner looks much different that this guy. He should have blue on his top and bottom and black through the center . So blue, black, blue. Yours doens't look like that. When he swims around he should be almost dancin around very sparadic, like he's putting up a flag that says don't eat me, i'm here for you. Thats what i would look for. How he swims. He looks like a neon goby to me. Where did you get it at? If it was at petco, its pry a neon goby cleaner

I don't even think the mouth looks like that of a cleaner wrasse. Definately not a cleaner wrasse. Just did a google on them and this is close but no cigar.

im returning him to the LFS 2day.
im planning to get cleaner shrimp instead.
