false lemon peel disease????

My false lemon peel has a lump on it's left side, and if I look at it from the back, in between the scales I can see blood. If it is a disease I need to treat it right away. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it, he is my favorite fish.

Could be a number of things. Can you please post a picture and give some more tank info? ( such as other livestock? )
