Just recently got a set of False Percula's and after 3 days they don't seem to be eating. I have tried Brine Plus, Mysis, and Spirulina Brine frozen preperations additionally have tried Prime Reef flakes. I used Selcon on it twice to try to enduce feeding but have had no luck. They seem stressed and run up and down on the left wall of the tank and race to the right side and repeat the behavior. There is no aggression in the tank and I am curious how I can help the situation out. They seem healthy and I am very pleased with the fish.

My water is as follows:

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite <.5
Nitrate 0

any ideas on how to help the situation out and get them to calm down a bit and eat?

Azial,

Congratulations on your new arrivals. False Perculas are one of the most enjoyed fish in the hobby. This is normal behavior when introducing fish to your aquarium and can take some time for the fish to begin eating again in their new environment.

It is a great idea, trying the Selcon. You may also want to try using Garlic Xtreme or another product containing garlic to stimulate the appetite of the fish.

You may also wish to add a neutralizer to the water in order to detoxify the nitrite levels you are currently experiencing.

If you could PM us with the size of the aquarium and a list of the other specimens you currently have housed in the tank we will be happy to help you to find other techniques to help acclimate the Clownfish with the least amount of stress.
