False Perc Hosting a Elegance coral

So when I walked into work tonight and turned on my lights and saw my clown sitting in my Elegance. I was pretty happy to see him go in there. This totally made my night to see this.

Kinda funny for me to see in your pic that you have your MagFloat sitting right there... last little clown I had I was hoping he would have chosen something a little more typical
to call home but alas... mine chose the MagFloat, he was "special" don't you know.

Not so good for the Elegance as it's tissue can be damaged leading to death and infection because it's not designed to have a fish hosting in it. Either get rid of the clown (which is what I did), or get rid of the Elegance.

Thanks for the advice Sandeep. He doesnt sit in it all the time I think he uses the Elegance as a place to run to when in danager.

Yeah, I'd have to agree, as great as it is to have two healthy specimens, it would seem ill advised.

I had a beautiful Indo Elegence, that my black occellaris took up residence in, besides his bta. After 4 months, the elegence's tissue didn't expand nerely to the extent that it could have. Another 3 months later it died.

Best of luck to you and your coral. For the long term health of the elegence, I'd discourage the clown from hosting in it.
