False percs and my mushrooms

I have a 55 gal. mini reef with a pair of captive breed false percs. I have various zoos and recently added a frag with a healthy crop of red mushroom corals to my tank. The mushrooms have been the tank for about 2 weeks now and today my percs have started to hang over my mushrooms. The smaller of the pair is rubbing the mushroom and "lays" there amoung them. I have inspected the pair and find no signs of disease with no other new additions(live rock frag and mushrooms QT'd for 6 weeks). Is this some type of adopting the mushroom as the perc would a anemone? Or should I be looking for a disease? The pair eat and act normal in other aspects.
Thanks,
Nevada

My tomato clowns host some blue mushrooms I have. It's perfectly fine. I've heard of clowns hosting frogspawn, torches, xenia, bubble corals, rock anemones, and at one time one of my tomatoes was hosting a star polyp rock that's shaped like a ball and the tentacles on the polyps happen to be very long.
