False Percs - New to tank (warning signs have me worried)

Just put 2 false percs as the first fish in my 75G tank.
No quarantine, but I introduced them slowly.

They have been hanging in the same front corner of the tank for the past few hours and haven't moved from there. I tried feeding and they reacted a little when the food came tumbling down, but they didn't eat (they ate a little in the fish store before I bought them).

I'm hoping that turning off my powerheads will reduce the flow and therefore the stress on them, and that it may encourage them to explore around the tank.

Should I be worried that they are staying in the same spot??

Is there anything else I can do to encourage them to eat and reduce stress?

no, there just new, leave em alone for a day or two and keeps the lights off, try offering them food in a day or two

yeah, theyll be fine without food for a day or two, try feeding them a little bit tommora and if they eat that feed em regular amounts

When i got my pair of percs, they went into quarantine and the male didnt eat for about 5 days, and finally they started eating, i have had them for about 3 months and they are loving their anemone and have started picking at a rock and nesting! it just takes time, and dont worry if they sleep in that spot too. They will start exploring once they feel comfortable.

I would avoid an anemone for a while, wait until the clowns have settled in. What you are seeing is totally normal behavior. However, with an anemone do all of your homework. They are certainly not for the beginner or heck even some advanced aquarians.

Thanks for the tips.
I've been doing research on the anemone for a while and I'm definitely leaning towards the "less difficult" anemones (BTAs).
I just wanted to throw out a line and hear about any experiences people have had with anemones and percs.

I will wait a few weeks to monitor the percs, do research and see how they acclimate before adding an anemone.
