False Percula & Anemone?

Hi all,

I am going to purchase a pair of false perculas in hopes of also having an anemone for the two. So, I was wondering if there is a specific anemone that will more likely house the two. The ones I'm looking into are the Sebae, Carpet, Green Bubble, and Long Tentacle. I would also prefer one that is fairly easy to care for. Any suggestions? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Welcome to ReefCentral Eric.

Unfortunately there are no anemones that are easy to care for. They all require very stable and mature fish tanks. Before you buy an anemone do a lot of reading here on RC and especially the Anemone FAQ that is posted in the FAQ thread at the top of this forum.

The good news is that your A. ocellaris (the actual species name for false percula) don't need an anemone to be happy and content in your tank.

dantodd, how do you know they aren't happy with an anemone? Did they tell you that themselves?! JK...

Eric, Read up and research anemones for a while before you make the purchase.
