Hi Jason, I bought two ice cap fans from you and I like them but they are loud once mounted to the pine canopy. By chance do you sell or recommend some bushings to quiet these things down a bit? The fans are quiet when the are off, just when attached with the supplied (2) nuts and screws and at full speed it makes an annoying hum noise. THX!

I think i would check out the hardware store for a bushing or gasket, i imagine you can get sometype of rubber between the fan and your canopy it should quiet that down. You might first check with Icecap to see if they have any aftermarket gadgets though.

I actuall checked with Icecap prior to checking with you guys, they have nothing. Kind of what I expected, especially since they skimp with how many bolts they give you with the fans. 2?????? Hello, there are 4 holes...... I will check the Depot to see what they have to offer, otherwise some PC stores. THX!
I'm talking about there halide and VHO ballasts. The halide is just a bare ballast and the VHO has a wire harness. Would be nice if those came wired up like PFO ballasts. I'm actually working on an aftermarket box that will make them plug and play, but then it increases the cost.
