Fancy Ocellaris Clownfish feeding problem

I recently purchased 2 "fancy ocellaris" clownfish. At least that's what they were calling them at my lfs. Anyway, i purchased them on saturday, it is now tuesday and they will not eat. I have tried dry food, flakes, frozen brine, and frozen mysis. They refuse to eat any of it, although they keep trying the frozen brine but after it goes in their mouth they spit it right back out. I'm getting worried as to why they aren't eating. thanks for all the future help!

Soak the brine in some garlic and they should take it. It won't offer much nutrition though. Rod's food or a good quality flake should work too. What flake were you trying?

new life spectrum pellets..All 3 of my pairs love them.. What are fancy clowns? Do they have different bars?

What were they eating at your LFS?

If you don't already, always ask to see them eat before you buy.

Have you checked all of your water parameters? You want to make sure there are no avoidable sources of stress.

Are they in QT, or with other fish?

Covering the walls of the tank (cardboard, tank background, etc) can help reduce stress for new purchases.

The first thing that my clowns would accept were frozen (thawed) blood worms.

Feed them Rod's food. I haven't come across a fish that doesn't love it

+1 on Rod's food. Even my finicky wrasse love it. Good luck!
