Fanworm rejeuvenation???

So I honestly wasn't sure if it could be done or not...

Bought this fanworm and a yellow one a few weeks back.

This fanworm completely released the fan section which I promptly removed from the tank but I left the tube w/ worm section in there thinking "what the hey, normal worms can still make it so I'll give this one a chance..."

Wouldn't you know this morning it's putting out about 1/2inch of new fan. Did anyone else know they can regrow the fan section?

I had one drop it's crown and end up in the top of a huge rock crevace (no way water flow could have got it there so i'm still puzzzled), but back on topic, it did grow a fan back
